She won first place in the short fiction Creative Quill 2005 Writing Contest with her story, “The Walk.” Trisha then went on to win third place in the short fiction Creative Quill 2006 Writing Contest with “Misconceptions”. Since then, her fiction, poetry, and non fiction articles have been published both online and in print.
