Following the <a href="http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/03/11/google_privila/" rel="nofollow">news coverage</a>, the articles have re-appeared for everyone. I expect the sites won't be added back to Google yet, since they still present a different view to the spider than to ordinary web browsers (by hiding the adverts).
